Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons people call us. Bring us the diagnosis or the written quote you already have. We will inspect it ourselves and tell you what we find, including the times the honest answer is that the work is not needed or the price you were given is fair.
How quickly can somebody get here?
We are available 24/7 for emergencies and same day service is often available. Our regular hours are 7am to 5pm Monday through Saturday. If you have no heat or no cooling right now, call 408-320-5011 rather than filling out a form.
Do you provide financing?
Yes. We offer financing through Wells Fargo and GoodLeap, including 0 percent interest for 12 months. We also handle rebate paperwork on qualifying high efficiency equipment, which is money most homeowners leave on the table.
Are your technicians licensed?
Made Simple Heating and Air Inc. is licensed, bonded and insured under California CSLB license #1056274. Our technicians are factory trained and experienced with the leading HVAC brands. We are also recognized by the US Department of Energy for heat pump and heat pump water heater installation.
What does a maintenance plan actually include?
Routine maintenance, priority scheduling and service discounts. Heating only plans are $14.99, $19.99 and $24.99 a month. Heating and cooling plans are $24.99, $34.99 and $39.99 a month. The higher tiers add priority response and larger discounts on repairs.
My AC is running but the house never gets cool. Is that the unit?
Often it is not. Weak airflow to one part of the house is usually ductwork, a failing capacitor, or a refrigerant charge issue rather than a dead system. This is exactly the situation where a second opinion saves people from buying equipment they did not need.
